When the pandemic hit, costume designer David Ochoa turned candle-maker, created a series of unique wax wonders from his Venice Beach bungalow.
Taking inspiration from sculptural artists & a mid-century modern aesthetic, David’s candles have a southern Californian vibe burnt into their DNA.
One-of-a-kind candles, architecturally influenced with wit and a wink. Range from an 80s boom box, a Palm Springs inspired house & the iconic Hollywood sign collab with The Academy Awards Museum; unusual hues include a gradient technique & eccentric color blocking.
